Ted specializes in the management and execution of property tax consulting engagements nationwide, as well as in helping clients qualify for property tax-related incentives. He advises clients across a broad range of industries, with particular experience in commercial real estate, including REITs, private equity firms, family offices and owners of industrial, manufacturing, refinery, hospitality, retail, office, multifamily, renewable energy, data center and logistics properties. His experience includes property tax function outsourcing, property tax forecasting and accruals, corporate relocations, personal and real property valuation appeals, pre- and post-acquisition due diligence, litigation support, personal property compliance and property tax exemptions.
Prior to joining Kroll, Ted served as Principal at Deloitte Tax LLP. He began his career as a practicing attorney focused on property tax matters, representing both taxpayers and taxing jurisdictions in property tax litigation.
Ted has served as a member of the New Jersey Supreme Court Committee on the Tax Court and the New York City Tax Certiorari Committee. He has presented at industry events, including Council on State Taxation (COST) conferences.
Ted is licensed to practice law in New York, New Jersey and the District of Columbia. He is a Counsellor of Real Estate (CRE), a Certified Member of the Institute for Professionals in Taxation (IPT) and holds an active Texas Senior Property Tax Consultant license.
